Internet Is Form Of Communication(New Media)

We can say internet is the source of information through information technological device. We live in rapid technological change. Everyday we are flooded with information from everywhere. The internet is sure that we are not left behind in terms of information on any front. Nowadays we want to any new information immediately. It is possible by Internet. Internet is the best way of media in modern period.

Well we know communication means sharing of information. Whenever we communicate, we share information, ideas and even feeling. Another important point is that any communication is not complete unless there is a feedback. It means whenever we talk to someone or someone reads what we have written, there must be a response from the other person. So in internet have feedback systems in place. In internet we share information or news by using narrative style and use of multimedia. An internet is very fast so we don’t have to wait for one full day to read and known day’s events in newspaper e.g. at 4 o’clock in the evening, if we want to check out the latest cricket scores, we have to simply log on the internet and check new website that will flash the information that we are interested in knowing. So internet is very popular for every human being.

Since, people read website in-between work they expect a language that they can easily understand. That’s why new media uses a narrative style or story format so that readers can easily understand whatever is being communication to them. The use of multimedia is also meant of facilitate the communication process. In new media language and multimedia package are both designed to act as interest factors.

Advantage:

Internet is also a very important mode of communication that we can not have ignored. We know that almost every organization today has a website. Anybody who wants to know about an organization will simply log on to the internet and check their website. So most of the benefits are most likely contains most of the information that anyone would want to know.

And Most of the television channels also have their own websites. Essentially, these websites are meant for information. A person can log on to the website of any television news channel and find out the different programs.. A website is also an important feedback vehicle. Viewers can log on to the website and give their feedback and comments about any programs.

We get access of visuals, pictures and words at a time. And we can share our feeling and emotion.

Limitation:

But you think everything is good about form of communication in internet (new media)? Not really, just as all things have their own limitations. These have also some disadvantages.  The most important issues here is that if anybody can write a blog and it is put up without any editing on the internet, then someone who wants to play trouble can always put up something on the internet that may have unfavorable effects.
