Computer Network

Computer networking is one of the most exciting and important technological field of our time. Computer networks are used to share the data resources and for communication in the world wide. The Internet interconnects billions of computers, providing a global communication, storage, and calculation transportation. Internet is currently being included with mobile and wireless technology, ushering in an impressive display of new applications. Computer networks and the internet connect end systems to the network center. The internet is a network of networks. The internet is very complex, both in terms of its hardware and software components, as well as in the service are provides. The public Internet is a worldwide computer network that is a network that interconnects billions of computing devices throughout the world. Increasingly, nontraditional Internet end systems such as PDAS (Personal Digital Assistants), TVs, Mobile computers, automobiles and toasters are being connected to the internet. Yet, satellite and digital line connections are also playing a role especially at the institutional, rather than individual user, level. We do all work from computer in connection with internet. Information and Communications Technologies are playing a significant role in economic, political and cultural development in the world wide. Internet is particularly well suited to facilitate and support a new and more and more popular standard in development region.  Networks in the ground of development are dedicated to the finding of new knowledge and its application for the advancement of developing nations and regions. Particularly the Internet, in the areas of health care, education, environmental protection and in other important fields can largely supply to the advancement of developing societies. Internet based communications and information processing technologies have upgraded the role of informal and information access networks the Internet is capable of running many different applications such as electronic mail, file transfer, the World Wide Web, Internet Telephony, Internet Video, MP3 music, MPEG4 video conferencing, multicasting, and interactive media services and all these radically different applications are created and installed locally by the users without any involvement of the (non-existent) controlling authority
Development networks are highly structured, have strong domination and participation is by invitation based on merit   In the case of information access networks, modern Digital Libraries provide more than access to information. The telephone network is a hierarchical entity, subject to rigid, automated internal controls. Basically the telephone network is optimized for one application: the transmission of voice (data is transmitted as voice) over real or virtual circuit paths. To introduce any new service, approval must be obtained from the telephone company which must also do the achievement of the proposed new service.

Internet is becoming a requirement to successful development work. Computer network is at risk to the internet and external security related theater such as: include virus, ad ware, root kits, web worms, hacker, etc. Computer network availability and security is very critical for the businesses.  Maintenance include the domain setup, dealing with the internal and external security threats, assigning IP addresses to the computes, enabling/disabling network services.

Protocols control the sending and receiving of information within the internet. TCP (the Transmission Control Protocol) and IP (the Internet Protocol) are two main protocols in the internet. The IP protocol specifies the format of the packets that are sent and received among routers and end systems. The Internet’s principal protocols are collectively known as TCP/IP. At the technical and developmental level, the internet is made possible through creation, testing, and implementation of Internet standards.

You need to perform to get optimize performance from computer networks:
  • Use of Systematically  Tools
  • Delete the files or document  which is Unnecessary
  • Update Device Drivers, BIOS  and Operating System
  • Not install useless Programs
